The day is finally here. The EVO is available at 8am at your local Sprint store. Will there be lines? Will this phone and 4G change the perception of Sprint? Am I an ass for giving up on the Pre? Can this new toy overshadow this awesome iPad I’m typing on now? How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a toosie pop?
The world may never know!
Well I finally got the dang thang and it’s working like a charm. In fact, i’m typing on my bluetooth keyboard right now via the ipad to write this blog wowzers right!
Thoughts on the iPad after 5 hours of playing and downloading and setting up:
1) Awesome
2) No multitasking like webOS is totally annoying.
3) This little keyboard is friggin cool yo!
4) this WordPress app is kinda neat too but doesn’t have all the functionality I would expect.
5) it weighs a little more than I thought it would, but i’m fine with that.
6) the case i got for it is sweet.. for now.
7) the stylus is ok, but you have to apply too much pressure.
8) smudges like a beyach yo

Stupid Memorial Day is forcing me to wait till Tuesday for delivery. SIGH!
Sweet! It’s in Memphis, TN. I feel it might arrive Tuesday. Sigh, have to go all weekend without it.

So I’m obsessing and tracking the every move of my iPad currently en route from Apples now infamous Foxcomm factory. As the screencap shows above, it’s in Lantau Island.. aka Hong Kong. Sigh.
Next stop is Alaska (i think)
Time to buy some velcro!

I have no idea if this thing works or not but it’s a pretty damn cool idea for us trekkers out there.
